Since
the early days of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee Hong Kong
Martial Arts films have long been a favorite of movie
goers and serious western martial artists. They have
a rich tradition of style, character and innovation.
Anyone who is familiar with this style will have come
across veteran action director and stunt professional
Chu Cho Kuen or “Joe Chu” as western filmmakers know
him. Joe has a long and accomplished career as a stunt
team director. Waving Clouds is proud to be representing

Joe
Chu can cover the needs of any action sequence work
that the film industry might put to him. He has worked
internationally on many blockbuster films with varying
themes such as, 007 “Tomorrow Never Dies” to stunt work
for the original animation movie “Scooby Doo”.
Since
1982, Joe has been a wire team member and martial art
director. Joe has worked on over 200 movie and television
works. Recently, he has appeared in and worked on some
