In her childhood, Miss. Chau was always spotted singing & dancing locally in her hometown. At age twelve she was accepted into the Sichuan Lu's Theatre to begin opera & dance training through age fifteen. Approaching age sixteen the famous and prestigious Beijing Chinese Opera & Dance Academy recruited her and propelled her on to a path towards major stardom nationally using her for many Chinese Operas and performances throughout China. In 1987, she was hired by 'Song City' where Master Wai held the position as Show Director. Master Wai appreciated Miss. Chau's skilful theatrical background. Her hard work at Song City earned her a discipleship from Master Wai in his theatre arts. After years of vigilance and persistence Chau made breakthrough history being the only female 'Face Changer' in the China and also inheriting the newly invented 'Costume Changing' technique by Master Wai in the same breath.
